Student Council

• We model the appropriate behavior and Christian morals needed to help guide St. John Berchmans School into excellence.
• We offer the principal helpful, practical and creative ideas  and suggestions concerning Spirit Days and other festivities.
• We plan for "Student of the Month" Awards and display boards.
• We lead the school in prayer and pledge during morning assemblies.

Yearbook

• Meeting times are Thursdays
  
• Each student is required to develop pages including pictures, stories, and surveys completed by deadlines.
• Yearbook members sell business and recognition ads to decrease the yearbook cost to students.
• Students attend a creative workshop held by Jostens during summer.

National Junior Beta

St. John's Olympiad team competes in the Olympiad Tournament in the spring. 

Mission: To promote and improve student interest and to improve the quality of K-12 science education throughout the nation.

• To bring science to life, to show how science works, to emphasize problem solving aspects of science and understanding of science concepts.
• To develop teamwork and cooperative learning strategies among students.
• To make science education more exciting.
• To promote high levels of achievement and commitment to excellence.

Meeting Times: Wednesdays 3:30 - 4:30 pm

2006-2007 - Regionals 2nd Place, two 1st place
